We Love the Magic House
Our kids love the magic house. We purchase a membership every year for a reason. It is a totally awesome place for fun, learning and family bonding.
Do you have a child between the ages of 1 and 10? The Magic House is an amazing place for children to explore, learn, imagine and play. It’s a place where they can be themselves, express their creativity and make new friends. They will discover how things work in our interactive exhibits that are designed to stimulate learning through fun!
The Magic House provides experiences that encourage children to think critically about the world around them as well as develop skills such as problem-solving, decision making and self-direction. All hands-on exhibits allow children to experiment with science concepts like gravity or sound waves while also encouraging social interaction among kids. Children will love exploring the museum!
Here is a little info from their website.
The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum will engage all children with hands-on learning experiences that spark imagination, pique curiosity, enhance creativity and develop problem-solving skills within a place of beauty, wonder, joy and magic.
The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion as essential to our mission. We value and seek to support the uniqueness of each member of our community including their race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and identity, ability, age, socioeconomic level and religious/spiritual identities.
Our Guiding Practices:
Foster an environment where all children and families are welcome, accepted and valued for their unique interests, abilities and backgrounds.
Recruit, retain, and value volunteers, staff, and board members who represent the diversity of our community.
Strengthen children’s abilities to create and problem-solve together, through play, providing transformational experiences to expand empathy and cultural awareness.
