Most appropriate if you have custom window treatments
Slight loss of glass due to “window within a window” concept

Full Frame Installation

Usually necessary when the frame of the old windows is rotted
All interior trim is new
Maximizes the amount of light through a new window
More expensive than insert method due to increased labor and materials.
More insulation between the new frame and the rough opening
